Ms. Tanya Hazen joined Matrix Research in 2026 as a high-level security professional with extensive experience in program security oversight, compliance inspections, and investigations.

Ms. Hazen is a retired Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Special Agent, Superintendent, who provided oversight on federal level criminal and counterintelligence investigations. She is also a combat veteran with three deployments and is a Bronze Star recipient.

After 20 years, Ms. Hazen retired from active-duty Air Force and transitioned into a career in program security as a program security officer. Her background includes security oversight for Department of Defense research and development programs in cutting edge military technologies. Ms. Hazen’s experience in counterintelligence, supply chain risk management, and physical and cyber security enable her to address complex and sensitive security situations while maintaining legal and regulatory compliance.

Ms. Hazen has a degree in psychology from Chapman University and is a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco Georgia.
